Outdoors, offline and (mostly) in person in Orinda, these after school workshops are for kids who love to write, and also for the kids who want to, but just don't know where to start. They're a creative time out—a safe space to hone writing and public speaking skills while connecting with other kids, in an environment designed to be warm, supportive and nurturing. Over time, most classes evolve to operate something like a writer's room on a television show, where young writers collaborate and encourage one another to make their stories the best they can be, while having a ton of fun in the process.
