Description

This camp taps into the wisdom (and mischief) of writers who make fiction for kids more fun. We'll read letters to young writers such Lemony Snicket on the writer's license to eavesdrop, or Elizabeth Singer Hunt on building tension. This camp is for rising 3rd and 4th graders. Camp is held in Orinda, near the Moraga border, close to OIS and Del Rey Elementary. 

Description

Workshop 26 was founded to provide a space for elementary and middle schoolers to work on their writing skills and connect with other kids. We believe that writing is better when shared with friends, better still when it happens off screens and outdoors. We believe that small group classes create safe spaces, where kids can learn to trust their creative voices and share their stories with confidence. We believe that kids learn best when it feels like play, and we always, always, play with words.
